Planner and Designer
After testing the waters of the event industry, Miranda decided to complete a certification course in wedding planning. She found her match through the Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants. She was drawn to their high standards and difficult training course, and desired to be known as one of the best.
In 2011, Miranda received the Professional Wedding Consultant title through the ACPWC. She served as the National Social Media Chair for the organization from 2012-2014, as well as the Event Programs Chair for the Silicon Valley NACE chapter. In 2013 she was awarded the Best Of The Industry in Event Planning by the same chapter, an award she holds very near and dear to her heart.
People who know Miranda describe her as high-energy and passionate (she thinks those are just nice words for “crazy, but in a good way”). Miranda loves what she does because it allows her to help people, as well as use both sides of her brain through planning and designing.
Miranda splits her time between Cave Creek, Arizona and Los Gatos, California. She is a mother to two beautiful children. She spends her non-working time playing ice hockey, singing, hiking, practicing yoga, eating sushi, and drinking lots of wine.
Mandy’s obsession for all things vintage and Disney (or both!) made her an instant friend. Her can-do attitude, amazing work-ethic, and positive energy made her a perfect fit for team MIRA! Mandy comes from her own creative background as owner of The Test of Time Vintage Rentals and Events.
Mandy lives in Tracy, CA with her wife Brooke and her darling son Harlow.

Kristan is a dynamite event planner with plenty of experience- she owns Kristan Shamus Events & Design and is also a product of the ACPWC. We love her for her fine attention to detail, her leadership, and her infectious laugh.
Kristan is based out of Livermore, CA where she lives with her wonderful husband Paul and a sweet little fur baby Truffles.
